Same old Mets!
Remember to check out our homepage my team rivals
The
New York Mets dropped both games of yesterdays doubleheader to the
Atlanta Braves yesterday. Tom Glavine topped the Mets 6-1 in game one,
game two was an improvement as they managed to double their offense,
losing only 6-2.
Over the last eighty games the Mets are now 40-40, a .500 team. After winning two from the Yankees I thought MAYBE they just might be ready to rise above mediocrity and get on a run. This season has been win one, lose one. The Mets showed their consistency, after winning two, of course they came out and dropped two.
As I have stated, they are what they are; a middle of the pack, .500 club as currently constituted.Get used to it folks.
