Mets come from behind, win 3-2!

The New York Mets had a dramatic, come from behind victory today at Shea Stadium.

The Mets were trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers, 2-0 in the bottom of the eight inning when Carlos Betlran delivered a  clutch two run homer to tie the game.  The go ahead run was provided by Fernando Tatis with a big single. This is the second game winning hit this week for Tatis who seems determined to once again be considered a viable major league player.

Mike Pelfrey had a solid outing but may be headed for either the minors or the bull pen when Pedro Martinez gets back into the rotation Tuesday. Personally, I would rather take my chances with Pelfrey and make a move with the inconsistent Oliver Perez...but, I don't get a vote.

The Mets have now won four  out of five..pretty good numbers for this season.
